About

This is a blog for learning about the urban walking experience.  It is maintained by Bob Sharpe, PhD who resides in Kitchener, Ontario.

Initially the blog was created to support teaching and learning objectives for university seminars in human geography that I offer related to walking.  The first users of the blog were students in a first-year, Faculty of Arts seminar at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario:  AF101e  'Walking: paths to discovery' offered starting in September, 2011.

Since then I have used the blog to support other courses, and more generally to post useful resources and interesting articles related to walking.  Currently I am active in using the blog as it is where I am preparing research and graphic materials to support my project My 15 Minute City.

All content is the creation of the author, unless otherwise noted.
